Late on Wednesday evening, Partizan announced that it has signed Lamar Stevens, who is coming to Belgrade after a season in Paris.
Following Kevarrius Hayes, another player from the LNB is joining the black and whites, and the American has signed a two-year contract with Partizan.
Partizan started this transfer window somewhat quietly, with mostly players leaving Belgrade, and on Sunday, they confirmed their first reinforcement in the form of Hayes. Now, Lamar Stevens has officially signed for Partizan, from whom more signings are expected in the upcoming period.
Stevens began his career in 2020 with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He then moved to the Boston Celtics, whose jersey he wore in the championship season, but during the same, he was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Memphis was also his last NBA team, as he arrived in Paris last summer. This small forward, who can also play as a power forward, played 23 games for the team from the French capital last season. On average, he averaged 19 minutes and recorded just over nine points and three rebounds.
