Panathinaikos officially announced the return of Lefteris Mantzoukas and Dimitris Moraitis to the team’s roster for the 2026-27 season.

Both players spent the previous campaign away from Athens. Mantzoukas competed in the NCAA with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, while Moraitis played on loan for Iraklis.

Mantzoukas, 23, initially joined Panathinaikos in 2021 and was part of the team that won the 2024 EuroLeague title. The 2.07-meter forward also captured two Greek League championships and one Greek Cup with the Greens.

After spending the 2024-25 season on loan with Aris and Maroussi, Mantzoukas moved to the United States for one year before returning to Panathinaikos.

Moraitis, 27, previously represented the Greens between 2023 and 2025, winning the EuroLeague and Greek championship in 2024, as well as the Greek Cup in 2025.

The Greek international averaged 9.8 points, 5.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds over 27.4 minutes per game with Iraklis during the 2025-26 season.

Their return adds two domestic players with previous experience at the club to Zeljko Obradovic’s roster.
