Real Madrid have officially announced the return of Eli John Ndiaye, who has signed a contract through the end of the 2027–28 season.
The Senegal-born Spanish forward returns to the club where he spent four senior seasons between 2021 and 2025, winning eight trophies: one EuroLeague title, three Spanish championships, one Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups.
Ndiaye first joined Real Madrid’s youth system in 2017, aged 13, before progressing through the academy and establishing himself in the first team.
He left Madrid in 2025 to pursue an NBA opportunity and signed a two-way contract with the Atlanta Hawks. However, a torn labrum required season-ending surgery before he could make his NBA debut, and he appeared only for the College Park Skyhawks in the G League.
Now back in familiar surroundings, Ndiaye will look to resume his development and provide Real Madrid with size, energy and defensive versatility at power forward.
