LDLC ASVEL has officially announced the signing of promising French point guard Marc-Owen Fodzo Dada.
A product of Nancy’s youth system, Fodzo Dada quickly established himself as one of the leading prospects in French basketball. Known for his playmaking, speed and defensive activity, he represented France at the 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup, averaging 12.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.1 steals in 22 minutes per game.
He won the French U21 championship in 2024 before averaging 22 points during the 2024/25 Espoirs season, finishing as the competition’s second-leading scorer. He also led the league with an average efficiency rating of 23.6.
Fodzo Dada joined Nancy’s senior roster in 2025/26 and recorded 6.2 points and 1.8 assists in 13.8 minutes per game during his first professional campaign.
Only 19 years old, the versatile guard will add speed, creativity and further long-term potential to ASVEL’s backcourt.
