Kosner Baskonia has strengthened its preseason training camp with the temporary addition of five replacement players to navigate a heavily depleted roster.
With multiple core squad members currently away on international duty for the upcoming FIBA window, and others scheduled to arrive over the next few days, head coach Paolo Galbiati has moved quickly to maintain the team’s planned preparation intensity and practice volume ahead of their first friendly fixtures.
The new additions, who have already arrived in Vitoria-Gasteiz, blend veteran experience and youthful energy to the camp. Joining the rotation for the coming weeks are 35-year-old Dejan Kravic, 28-year-old Lucas N’Guessan, 31-year-old Mehdy Ngouama, 29-year-old Goran Filipovic, and 18-year-old Hugo Alonso.

These five players ensure the coaching staff can run full-speed tactical sessions and scrimmages without overloading the available primary roster members. They will integrate with the rest of the players who are already present or arriving for camp.
Baskonia’s current squad for the 2026–27 campaign across the EuroLeague and Spain’s Liga Endesa features a mixture of returning talent and new signings. Headlining the group are dynamic scorers Markus Howard and Chris Duarte, alongside Damion Baugh, Khalifa Diop, Clement Frisch, Rodions Kurucs, and A.J. Lawson. The roster is rounded out by established contributors Tadas Sedekerskis and D.J. Stewart Jr., as well as playmakers Kobi Simmons and Matteo Spagnolo.
With official games starting in late September, Baskonia looks to build chemistry heading into the launch of the Regular Season across both the EuroLeague and Liga Endesa.
