The Croatian club announced that Veljko Mrsic will remain the team’s head coach for the next three years, signing a new contract. A fine reward for the great season of the team so far.
In his first year as a head coach of the team (he spent the two previous seasons an assistant), Veljko Mrsic led the Cedevita to a historical accomplishment. We are talking of course about the qualification to the Euroleague Top 16 for the first time ever, in the club’s history.
Cedevita has also won the Kresimir Cosic Cup in Croatia and is currently third in the standings of the ABA League.
