Kenneth Faried is heading to the Liga Endesa; as announced by Chema de Lucas, the American big man has signed with Kosner Baskonia.
Faried joined Panathinaikos at the start of last season, when Ergin Ataman’s team was facing significant issues at the center position. He made a strong impression right away, earning EuroLeague MVP honors in November. In total, he played 35 Euroleague games, averaging 5.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and a 6.6 rating.
With the “Greens,” he won the Greek Cup, although he did not play in the final. During the Stoiximan GBL finals, despite being among the eight available foreign players, he was not selected for the roster for any of the five games against Olympiacos.
After concluding his season in Greece with Panathinaikos, he immediately found a new team, joining the Cangrejeros de Santurce in the Puerto Rican league.
