Bayern Munich has announced that it has completed its coaching staff for the upcoming season, adding a well-known name to their team.
Tyrese Rice, who played for Bayern Munich in the 2012/13 season, has become an individual coach at Bayern, the club announced.
“Our coaching staff is complete. Tyrese Rice returns as an individual coach, while Andre van Staa joins as a rehabilitation coach to support the physiotherapy team.”
The player himself stated that he is glad to have returned to Bayern.
“It feels good to return to a place that embraced me back when I was a player.”
After a great season at Bayern, Rice went to Maccabi with whom he won the EuroLeague and was the MVP of the F4 tournament in Milan. He later played for Khimki, Barcelona, Shenzhen, Brose Bamberg, Panathinaikos, and AEK.
