Fenerbahce Tarfin Istanbul opened their preseason campaign with an 82-70 defeat to Glint Korfez at Recep Topaloglu Spor Salonu in Izmit.
New signings Shavon Shields and Johnny Juzang led the Turkish champions with 11 points each on their debuts, while fellow newcomer Braxton Key added 10. Talen Horton-Tucker finished with nine points.
Johnny Davis paced Glint Korfez with 19 points. Former Fenerbahce player Mert Emre Eksioglu and Serbian forward Filip Barna contributed 10 apiece.
Fenerbahce Tarfin Istanbul will return to action in two days against Tofas Bursa before facing Olympiacos Piraeus and either Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade or Olimpia Milano in EuroLeague preseason competition.
