Injury problems keep piling up for Panathinaikos, as the Greek forward has been ruled out of the team’s preseason preparations

By John Rammas/ irammas@eurohoops.net

Kendrick Nunn has a torn medial meniscus in his right knee, Nigel Hayes-Davies has a fractured fourth metacarpal of his left hand, and Nikos Rogavopoulos has a strain in his left hamstring.

“Roga” was injured in the defeat (97-86) by Maroussi at the Agios Thomas Stadium and Panathinaikos will continue for the next few weeks without another player, namely a forward.

The preparation was already being carried out with obstacles due to other minor problems and the delayed integration of the internationals, this also emerged. The misfortune is double for the player himself, since he had just returned from the plantar fasciitis in his left foot, which kept him out of the National Team during the summer “window” for the 2027 World Cup qualifiers (27/8-12/9, Qatar).
