The new Fenerbahçe squad faced one of their toughest preseason games. Coach Saras Jasikevicius’s team took on Olimpia Milano and secured the victory in the final seconds.

With Will Clyburn, Trent Forrest, Shavon Shields, and other new signings, the Turkish side won by the narrowest of margins (81-79) in one of the most anticipated matches of the day.

Will Clyburn (13 p.) and Johnny Juzang (12 p.) were the top scorers. Wade Baldwin added 10 points. For Olimpia Milano, Moses Wright was the top scorer with 20 points, and RJ Cole scored 17 points.

Easy win for Zalgiris

On an afternoon packed with EuroLeague preseason games, Zalgiris Kaunas kicked off the day with a comfortable victory over Sabah (112-78).

In a game where Jonas Valanciunas, their big summer signing, left the game with a foot injury after just a few minutes, the Lithuanian team secured an easy win thanks to their three-point shooting, improving their preseason record to 3-for-3.

Edgaras Ulanovas, the team’s captain, led all scorers with 18 points, followed by Marek Blazevic with 17 points, who returned to the team this season.

Dubai dominates Besiktas

Dubai easily defeated Besiktas in the Euroleague clash of new teams in the competition. Xavi Pascual’s men dominated Alimpijevic’s side (83-71).

The new team of Elie Okobo, Mamadi Diakité and Toko Shengelia, among others, had a good first half to be ahead of the Turkish team.

Dubai continues preparing for the EuroLeague Supercup, while Besiktas continues to pick up speed to return to the EuroLeague in place of Monaco.

Hapoel secures a thrilling win

Hapoel Tel Aviv’s preseason continues to yield positive results. Dimitris Itoudis’s team defeated FMP Belgrade (71-66) in a friendly match.

With the addition of Max Heidegger just minutes before tip-off, the standout players were newcomer Amir Coffey (14 points) and veteran point guard Tomas Satoransky (10).

Bayern Munich crushes Bamberg in preseason

Despite Bamberg putting up a fight in the first quarter, Bayern responded to dominate with ease and secure another preseason victory (98-67).

The German team, which has gone several seasons without being at the top of the EuroLeague, wants to change the dynamic with renowned signings such as former NBA player MarJon Beauchamp.

Montero leads Olympiacos in his debut

Olympiacos defeated Red Star Belgrade (87-77) in a high-level match in Crete. Jean Montero’s debut was sensational, scoring 12 points.

Unlike in the tournament semifinals, the Greek team dominated from the start. The European champions neutralized the strengths of Ibon Navarro’s squad. Mbaye Ndiaye led the scoring with 16 points.

For Crvena Zvezda, David Krämer and Jordan Nwora were the top scorers with 16 points each.
