Maccabi Tel Aviv chairman Shimon Mizrahi says no formal offer has arrived yet, but any proposal would be discussed by EuroLeague club leaders on October 5

The next major step in the NBA’s plans for European basketball could come in early October, although EuroLeague clubs have yet to receive the anticipated written proposal.

Speaking during Maccabi Tel Aviv’s season-opening press conference, club chairman Shimon Mizrahi said the NBA was expected to present an offer related to the future of the EuroLeague, with FIBA also involved in the process.

They were supposed to submit a written proposal to us—and FIBA is involved in this as well—but so far, no proposal has been submitted at all. If one does arrive, it will be discussed at the meeting of club chairmen on October 5,” Mizrahi said, as reported by ONE.
