Olympiacos center Nikola Milutinov could make his first appearance in official games this season in the EuroLeague’s first round, where Olympiacos will visit Baskonia in Vitoria.
Milutinov missed some part of the preseason due to tendinitis in the rectus femoris of his left leg, as well as the EuroLeague Super Cup in Abu Dhabi, where Olympiacos was defeated by Real Madrid in the final with a score of 93-89.
However, Georgios Bartzokas included him among the 13 travelers to Vitoria, so it seems that Milutinov is very close to getting his first minutes of this season.
The 13-man squad: Cody Miller-McIntyre, Tyson Ward, Jean Montero, Sasha Vezenkov, Kostas Papanikolaou, Tyler Dorsey, Mbaye Ndiaye, Antonis Karagiannidis, Nikola Milutinov, Cory Joseph, Donta Hall, Tyrese Jones, and Evan Fournier.
Meanwhile, Giorgos Bourneles, Nikos Plotas, and Omiros Netzipoglou were left out of the coach’s selections.
