Partizan Mozzart Bet has signed 36-year-old Bandja Sy to a short-term contract.
The deal was announced on Monday.
Head coach Joan Penarroya needed reinforcements fast. Captain Vanja Marinkovic is recovering from Achilles surgery, while Derek Willis and Joffrey Lauvergne are sidelined with ankle and calf issues. Adding depth in the paint, the front office turned to a familiar face.
The Paris native previously suited up for the Serbian powerhouse between 2018 and 2019. Now, ‘Air France’ is back in Belgrade once again, joining the team with immediate effect. He is already up to speed, having spent preseason training with the squad.
