Shaquille O’Neal has arrived in Lithuania. The towering NBA legend landed on Tuesday for a tour that stretches to the EuroLeague.
Shaq is visiting the Baltic nation as the new global ambassador for NordVPN, the digital security app created by Nord Security. His first stop is the capital, Vilnius. There, company co-founders Tomas Okmanas and Eimantas Sabaliauskas will welcome him for an exclusive press conference.
The visit highlights O’Neal’s massive transition from sports to global business. Beyond his Hall of Fame playing career, he is a Doctor of Education, the President of Reebok Basketball, an honorary law enforcement officer, and a philanthropist. He stays in the public eye as an Emmy-winning studio analyst broadcaster. Recently, he even launched DUNKMAN, a professional dunk league. Now, he is bringing that heavyweight presence to the tech world.
After his corporate events in Vilnius, he heads straight into the country’s sports culture. O’Neal will travel to Kaunas to sit courtside at Zalgirio Arena for Round 2 of the 2026–27 EuroLeague Regular Season. Local powerhouse Zalgiris is playing defending champion Olympiacos later Tuesday.

Zalgiris enters the matchup with strong momentum. Led by former NBA center Jonas Valanciunas, the Kaunas outfit went 1–0 after earning a victory over Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet at the Belgrade Arena last week.
Team president Paulius Jankunas noted that having the four-time NBA champion in the building will make the continental home opener unforgettable for fans.
Following Tuesday’s clash with all eyes on 54-year-old O’Neal, Zalgiris will quickly shift focus to Round 3, traveling to the Adidas Arena to face Paris on Thursday.
