Patrick Baldwin Jr.’s wait for his EuroLeague debut will continue, with a back problem keeping him out of Crvena zvezda’s game against Anadolu Efes.
The summer arrival from the NBA did not practice with the team, and coach Ibon Navarro said there is no clear timeline for his return.
“Baldwin didn’t practice with the team, and I don’t think he will play. I don’t know when he will return. He has a back problem and has undergone examinations. He practiced with the team two days ago and felt better, but he still doesn’t feel comfortable,” Navarro said.
The coach stressed that Baldwin needs to be ready before returning to the lineup.
“We can’t have players at 50 percent.”
Baldwin joined Zvezda this summer after beginning his professional career in the NBA. The 23-year-old was selected 28th overall by Golden State in the 2022 draft and later played for Washington.
