Four rounds of the EuroLeague have been played, and after them, the last place on the table is held by Olimpia Milano, which has one win and three losses.
Expectations in northern Italy were certainly for a better start to the season; Milano also recorded a loss in the domestic championship, but despite this, they have not lost faith in Peppe Poeta.
This was reported by ANSA, which emphasized that nothing has changed regarding the status of the head coach, despite the poor start and claims by some media that a replacement for Poeta is being prepared.
“Full confidence in Peppe Poeta. The top management of Armani Milano did not expect such a difficult start – three consecutive defeats between the league and the cup – but they have no intention of changing the coach who last season, inheriting the team after Ettore Messina’s resignation in November, won the Championship and the Italian Cup.”
In the next round, Milan will host Real Madrid on their home court, on Tuesday, October 13th
