Partizan announced on social media that they have signed a contract with Antonio Reeves, a guard who played in the NBA for the past two seasons.
Although Partizan stands solidly with three wins and three losses after six rounds in the EuroLeague, it was clear that the Belgrade team would need to bring in at least one more guard.
The decision fell on Reeves, a former student of Illinois State and Kentucky, who was drafted in the NBA in 2024.
Reeves was a member of the New Orleans Pelicans and Charlotte Hornets, before being left without a contract in the NBA before the new season.
Per press release: “The new basketball player of Partizan Mozzart Bet is Antonio Reeves! The American basketball player, born on November 20, 2000, comes from the Iowa Wolves team, which competes in the NBA G League.
During his college career, he played for Illinois State and Kentucky, and in the 2024 NBA draft, he was selected in the second round by the Orlando Magic.”
