In a statement, Paris Basketball announced that it will invite to the Adidas Arena on Friday evening “merchants, students, firefighters, and sanitation workers affected by the current tensions” following the October 17 protests.

Paris will host Valencia in the seventh round on Friday at 8:45 PM CEST in their arena, and the host will allow attendance for all affected segments of society.

This was confirmed by the president of Paris, David Kahn.

“We do not live the same realities, we do not all have the same opinions. But we can share the same emotions. In a society where we often talk about what divides us, we want to remind everyone of the strength of what unites us.”

In detail, Paris will welcome to the Adidas Arena “merchants affected by the damage during the protests, accompanied by their families, high school and college students in precarious situations, firefighters mobilized during the protests, and sanitation workers tasked with cleaning the streets of Paris after the gatherings.”
