Olympiacos’s injury problems open up opportunities, while Tyson Carter and Momo Faye provide affordable alternatives for Round 9

The second half of the double-game week brings another set of EuroLeague Fantasy decisions, with injury-hit Olympiacos offering some appealing options.

After disappointing returns from Nigel Hayes-Davis in an earlier round and Sylvain Francisco in Round 8, we are keeping our distance from Panathinaikos for now and turning to its archrival.

Codi Miller-McIntyre is one to consider at 10.4 credits. If Jean Montero remains unavailable, the American playmaker should again shoulder much of the responsibility at point guard.

Miller-McIntyre has played between 23 and 32 minutes in recent games. His highest PIR so far is 19, but the playing time and opportunity are there for a bigger return.

For a cheaper backcourt option, Crvena Zvezda’s Tyson Carter costs 6.4 credits and comes off a breakout performance worth 26 PIR against Maccabi.

From one Tyson to another, Tyson Ward is available for 8.1 credits. He is currently Olympiacos’s main option at shooting guard while also playing his natural small-forward position. His form, production and expanded role make him an attractive choice without stretching the budget.

At center, Paris Basketball’s Momo Faye costs just 7.9 credits and offers an encouraging run of consistency.

Earlier in the season, we recommended Virtus Bologna’s Aliou Diarra at 7.5 credits. He now costs 9.8 and is producing like a considerably more expensive player. Faye could be another value pick: he has recorded a double-digit PIR in each of his last five games, averaging 15.6 over that stretch.
