FC Barcelona have been dealt an injury setback, with Juan Núñez ruled out of Friday’s game against Valencia Basket following a right ankle sprain sustained during the clash against Bayern Munich.

The Spanish guard is expected to be sidelined for approximately ten days as he begins his recovery from the injury.

Núñez’s absence will be a blow to Barcelona’s backcourt rotation ahead of their upcoming matchup against Valencia Basket. The team will have to manage without the young guard as he focuses on recovering and returning to action as soon as possible, while Umoja Gibson is a game-time decision for FC Barcelona’s upcoming Euroleague clash after suffering a knee knock that forced him to leave the game against Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, Yoan Makoundou remains sidelined and will continue to be unavailable for selection.

There is, however, positive news for Barcelona, as Joel Parra is available again and ready to return to action.
