Nunn explodes for 33 points and makes history, Panathinaikos wins it against Real after OT drama

Panathinaikos secured a victory in the first match of the 10th round of the EuroLeague by defeating Real Madrid 115-112 away after overtime.

We witnessed a great game in Madrid, with both teams exchanging leads, and the decision came in dramatic fashion.

It seemed Real could turn things around in the fourth quarter and claim victory, but they faced Kendrick Nunn, who scored 23 points in the fourth quarter and set a EuroLeague record for the most points in a fourth quarter.

With his free throws, PAO managed to take the lead with seven seconds left (101-99), but Andres Feliz made a layup in the last possession to bring overtime for the hosts. However, without Facundo Campazzo and Theo Maledon, Real couldn’t hold on, and Panathinaikos was better in the additional five minutes, ultimately taking the victory from Spain after the drama.

Nunn finished the game with 33 points, Mathias Lessort added 20, and Sylvain Francisco scored 18. For the hosts, Andres Feliz was outstanding with 27 points and six assists, Alberto Abalde added 13, and Damian Jones 15.
