Crvena zvezda defeated Olympiacos 62-57 in the tenth round of the EuroLeague, in a match where John Konchar played for the Greek team for the first time.

Konchar played just under 20 minutes but did not score, as he shot 0/4 from three-point range. However, he had three rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.

After the match, Konchar spoke to the media, sharing his first impressions and comparing the EuroLeague to the NBA.

“The atmosphere is good. I wish we could have won for the fans, but it was fun playing in front of them.

I had to play better offensively to get the win for us. Defensively, it was a good performance. I brought energy, made some blocks for us, but offensively I need to be better.

There is more physicality (comparation with the NBA), and every possession counts here, honestly. Mistakes cost, and we need to have more possessions.”
