There’s no shortage of comments on how the referees make calls, recently in Euroleague. During the press conference before the game of Barcelona and CSKA Moscow, in Spain, the coach of the Blaugrana made a specific mention on the behavior he expects to see from the refs.
As reported by Mundo Deportivo Xavi Pascual expressed his hope that the arbitration of the game will be improved in comparison with the teams’ first Top 16 meeting this season, in Moscow. CSKA Moscow had won that game 93 – 82.
“I hope that the arbitration is better than in the game which took place in Moscow”, said the coach of the Catalans. He continued by praising Barcelona’s opponents, mentioning that his team needs to play even better than in the game vs Olympiacos. “We did very well in the last game at Palau against Olympiacos. Against CSKA we need to play our best game. This is a team that always scored nearly a hundred points. Nando De Colo and Milos Teodosic are the main driving forces of the team, but they also have players like Kyle Hines, Vitaly Fridzon and Cory Higgins. This is a complete team”.
