Fourth injury in a row for the Greek combo guard in the season whose bad luck doesn’t seem to end.

Kostas Sloukas‘ bad luck doesn’t seem to have an end this season. The Fenerbahce combo guard sustained another injury, this time in last night’s game against Darussafaka Dogus. That marked his fourth consecutive injury in the season.

The Greek international player has been playing for eight minutes, before asking a substitution after feeling an intense pain on the heel of his left foot.  The examinations later in the hospital showed an inflammation on his heel. At least the good news is that he didn’t suffer another rupture, like the one that kept him out of action for almost two months.

Sloukas will stay off practices for about 2-3 days and then his condition will be reevaluated. Let’s hope that this is the last injury Kostas Sloukas suffers and that he will be able to recover and come back 100% healthy in order to finally play some basketball.
