A 27-13 in the third quarter let CSKA Moscow beat Zalgiris Kaunas at home (100-86) to retain its chances to finish first in group F.

For the winners, Nando De Colo had 26 points (on 8 of 11 shooting) and seven rebounds, with four more players scoring in double figures. On the other hand, Olivier Hanlan scored 15 points and dished six assists for the losing squad, which has already been eliminated.

Zalgiris Kaunas managed to remain competitive in the first quarter (6-8, 12-12, 14-15) and was in front by two points, after 10 minutes in the game (21-23).

Later, the visitors enhanced their overall performance and went on a 12-20 run to take a double-digit lead (33-43). However, CSKA Moscow responded and cut the deficit to just one point at the end of the first half (47-48), behind a 14-5 run of their own.

In the second half, the Russians were unstoppable. Executing perfectly both defensively and offensively, they outscored their opponents 27-13 in the third quarter to earn a 13-point advantage (74-61).

In the fourth quarter, the Lithuanians tried to make a come-back (77-68, 79-71), but the hosts easily retained their lead (89-77, 98-82) and claimed the victory, which helps them retain their chances to finish first in group F.
