With their last night’s games, Nando De Colo and Giannis Bourousis confirmed their status as contenders for the title of season MVP in Euroleague.  They both had magnificent performances, leading their teams to victories while gathering the same number of points (35) in the ranking system, forcing the weekly MVP award to be split in two.

The start was made by De Colo who scored 26 points (with impeccable shooting of 8/11 field goals and 5/5 free throws), grabbed 7 rebounds and won 6 fouls in the 100 – 86 win of CSKA Moscow over Zalgiris Kaunas. The French combo guard made a new career high with his index rating performance, since his previous one was 34.

On the other side of Europe, and in Vitoria, Giannis Bourousis gave one more show, worthy of the best center, and not only,  in Europe right now. By posting his 11th double-double in the season (25 points, 10 rebounds) and helping his team in multiple ways (3 assists, 3 steals), the 32-year old big guy gave a mighty boost Laboral Kutxa against Real Madrid, keeping his team alive and well, until Davis Bertans arrived to finish the job in the end.
