Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 13 of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top 16. The sanctions are based on infractions of the competition by-laws that all teams are aware of and obliged to fulfill. The following sanctions were handed down for Top 16 Round 13:

  • Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade has been sanctioned with a fine of 8,000 Euros for the malfunction of equipment of the arena which affected the smooth running of its home game against Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul, under Article 29.2, paragraph (k) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
  • Panathinaikos Athens has been sanctioned with a fine of 10,000 Euros for the lighting of fireworks in the arena during its home game against Cedevita Zagreb, under Article 29.2, paragraph (e) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
