With a decent performance in the second quarter (16-8), Unicaja Malaga prevailed over Fenerbahce at home (71-67) in the last round of Euroleague’s top 16. The hosts had already been eliminated, whereas the Turks will now face Real Madrid in the playoffs.

Later, the Spaniards continued to have control of the game (34-25) and extended their lead to double digits at the end of the first half (39-28), outscoring their opponents 16-8 in the second quarter.

In the second half, the hosts retained their double-digit advantage (46-34), however the visitors responded and went on a 6-14 run to cut the deficit to four (52-48). Malaga, though, managed to bring their lead back to double digits after 30 minutes in the game (58-48).
