Crazy, but true! The last time “Chacho” had finished a game with no assists, was one year ago.

Real Madrid had a sloppy start in the playoff series against Fenerbahce, losing 71 -65 after an ugly game, especially on offense. Perhaps it is not a surprise that the Spaniards fared so badly in their scoring duties, since their grand maestro, Sergio Rodriguez, finished the game with… zero assists.

This is of the unheard-of, since it last happened in an official game, almost one year ago! It was on April 17th 2015, in the second match for the Euroleague playoff series between Real Madrid and Anadolu Efes, when Chacho didn’t dish any assists at all to his teammates.

Contrary to what happened few hours ago against Fenerbahce, his team had won that game 90 – 85, making it 2-0 in the series and taking a big step towards the Final Four where Real Madrid was crowned Euroleague champion.
