Andrey Vorontsevich will have to face Lokomotiv Kuban in the Final Four of Berlin and it prefers that, compared to Barcelona.
As the Russian forward said to an interview in TASS agency: “I was on the side of Lokomotiv throughout the series. I am very happy because they qualified and Russia will have two teams in the Final Four. In my opinion it is better to play against a team of fighters like Lokomotiv Kuban, compared to the whiners of Barcelona. If Khimki was also in the Final Four, it would be even better”.
However, the goal of CSKA Moscow at this point is the obvious: “We have to win regardless of where we play. Hopefully it will be a special month for our country, during which, CSKA will celebrate”.
When he was asked which is his favorite Final Four city, he added: “During the Final Four, we don’t have much time to see the city, because we have a very tight schedule. You can see the landmarks of the city when you are just off the plane and during the bus rides. For us where we play does not matter, we want to get to the end”.
