In his first season in Euroleague, Ryan Broekhoff achieved what other players haven’t managed their whole career: To participate in the competition’s Final Four with Lokomotiv Kuban, and have a chance to win the prestigious trophy of the champion.
When he described his feelings to Eurohoops, he answered that “We are excited! This is a huge thing for the club, the coaches, the players”.
“Obviously they is one of the biggest clubs in Europe. They are always in the Final Four stage. They’ve got some really – really good players”, the Australian swingman said when asked to describe CSKA Moscow, Loko’s opponent in the semifinals. “We know we are in for a big fight. It’s going to be a tough challenge, but at the same time an exciting game to watch”, he added.
