While the topic of discussion with Victor Claver was the Final Four and Lokomotiv Kuban, Eurohoops couldn’t help but ask him about the feud between FIBA and Euroleague.
After all, Victor Claver is the only member of the banned from Eurobasket 2017 Spanish national team in the Final Four and his opinion on the matter has not been heard.
According to the Spanish forward: “I think that because of the problem with the clubs, FIBA is putting pressure in the national teams and it’s not right. FIBA wanted to make its own league, but they have to get an agreement with the Euroleague, this would be the best for basketball”.
