Lokomotiv Kuban achieved a major accomplishment by participating in the Euroleague semifinal in the club’s history but wont go any further. The team from Krasnodar was ultimated defeated 88 – 81 by CSKA Moscow and will have to settle for the third place game on Sunday.

With 17 points and 4 assists, Dontaye Draper was one of the best performers’ of his team. And as all good players did he not have any problem to admit to Eurohoopps, his opponents’ superiority: “I take my hats off to CSKA Moscow. They played a great game and they deserved to win”.

But what went wrong with Lokomotiv? How did the best defensive team in Europe allowed 88 points in such a crucial game? “They did a really good job in scouting our switching defense. They were shooting great and after every shot they missed, they were getting the offensive rebound”.

Now Dontaye Draper and his teammates have one game more ahead of them. “We want to win these games. Our fans travelled all he way to Berlin and we have to win it for them. they are by far the best fans in Russia”.
