Fenerbahce made a huge comeback against CSKA Moscow in the Euroleague Final but in the end, it came short, losing its first title game in the history of the competition.

Nikola Kalinic was obviously quite dissapointed with how things played out. As he said to Eurohoops: “I’d say that this loss was terrible for us. The second quarter was terrible as well. We came back after it, of course, but in the end one lost rebound was a different between winners and losers. We didn’t box out properly in that play and we are losers. We had our chance, but we didn’t make anything out of it”.

His team “It is good that we came back but we lost the game.We fought really hard. But I think we appeared a little bit weak before our comeback. We were unprepared for such a fight perhaps”.

There were some complaints by Zeljko Obradovic about some calls of the refs. What does Nikola Kalinic think? “Sometimes mistakes happen. But referees are also humans. Without watching the video, I can’t say anything”.
