Third time was a charm for Aaron Jackson and CSKA Moscow and the American guard was more than happy.

Jackson didn’t hide his feelings: “This feels amazing man. I have been here three times before. I faced three Final Four dissapointments. And you know what? I’d take three dissapointments again to get this trophy right here . This is the biggest moment in my career. I’m a champion and I’m in the history books. Thank God;’. We had a great season but it was filled with lots of ups and downs. Personally too. I have even broken my face. Well, it was all worth it”.

Difficulties making it sweeter for the American guard: “Because we had so many roadblocks in our path, injuries, bad luck. We had so many dissapointments. But they all built us for this moment, right here”.

When Fenerbahce came back in the game, Jackson and CSKA were ready: “No, no. I didn’think about it. Fenerbahce is a really good team. They have one of the greatest coaches in the history of Euroleague. And we expected them to come back in the game. I received some very special congratulations for the Euroleague championship. But I prefer to keep them for myself and not share them with anyone”.
