Euroleague finalist Fenerbahce is expected to be the same and even better next season. That’s what the president of the club, Aziz Yildirim, said in the general assembly.

According to Yildirim only one player, Ekpe Udoh, may leave the current roster: “We will keep the roster intact. Only Udoh is waiting for the NBA. He was affraid because of the attack which happened in Antep. There are 51% chances for him to stay. We will add two more players to that roster and we will keep all others”.

That can push the budget of the team even higher after a year in which the basketball section of the club had a 19 million euros deficit. As Yildirim said: “We spend a total 30 million euros and earned 11 million euros”.

This balance is expected to change from next season, due to the new financial data because of Euroleague’s and IMG’s joint venture. The money its team will get from competing to Euroleague will be more than double.
