Zalgiris Kaunas prevailed over Venezia (76-65) in the final of the “Citta Di Caorle” preparation tournament in Italy. It was a good end to the training camp of the Lithuanian champs in Italy.
Arturas Milankis was the MVP of the tournament and Zalgiris is getting ready for the upcoming Euroleague season, in which they will try to be a real factor in the league.
Milaknis had 14 points, Brock Motum added 133 and Augusto Lima had 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners, while captain Paulius Jankunas also did his job with 10 points. For the losing side, former Maccabi Tel Aviv and Panathinaikos member MarQuez Haynes scored 15 points.
