Fenerbahce officially announced the signing of Bulgarian youngster Yordan Minchev on a 5 year deal. The player will be registered in the team’s Euroleague squad.
Minchev, 18, is a forward who can perform at both the “3” and “4” positions and has been training with Fenerbahce since the preseason period.
During the summer, Minchev participated in the FIBA U18 European Championship Divison B, averaging 22.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.8 steals per game with the Bulgarian national team.
Last season he was a player of Levski Sofia with which he averaged 7 points, 3.3 rebounds during 21 minutes per game in 27 matches for the Bulgarian League.
