Velimir Perasovic congratulated Panathinaikos for the victory against Anadolu Efes during the post-game press conference but he emphasized on the call that gave Mike James the opportunity to force the overtime with three free-throws.

A “bad decision,” as he characteristically said.

“This is a tough loss for us. I think we played very good basketball in the first 40 minutes but not in overtime where gave up and played bad basketball. The critical decision was the foul for three free throws on Mike James. I saw the replay and the referee that changed the initial decision took a bad decision. It’s a foul for two points. We didn’t understand why he didn’t check it if he wasn’t sure. It’s the second game that we have the same problem with the same referee. But I have to congratulate Panathinaikos because they believed in victory and found a way to win. We had problems with the offensive rebounding of Panathinaikos and that was a key.”

Here’s the rest of the games’ quotes.
