The newest player of Maccabi Tel Aviv will have to wait a bit to make his debut

By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

Coach Ainars Bagatskis was hoping to use Diamon Simpson, the latest transfer of Maccabi Tel Aviv, in tomorrow’s (2/1) EuroLeague game against Olympiacos. But it seems that his debut is going to be postponed.

Simpson was supposed to arrive in Tel Aviv on Wednesday but due to bad weather conditions, he’s ll be there tomorrow evening, so he won’t be able to help his team in this crucial match.

An injury-plagued Maccabi (Quincy Miller, Devin Smith, Andrew Goudelock and Joe Alexander are out) now has a roster reduced down to… eight players.

Olympiacos, on the other hand, has traveled to Israel with only one absence, albeit a major one, since injured team captain Vassilis Spanoulis stayed in Athens.
