The unit of coach David Blatt made things easy on the way to a 67-56 win which keeps them one step away from Anadolu Efes and the 8th spot of the standings with a 13-13 record.

Darussafaka dominated the secord period, scoring 32 points while Barcelona scored only nine points and finished the first half with 9/31 field goals. The hosts got a 43-22 lead and after that the Catalans had to climb a mountain and said goodbye to the playoffs, even if making them was already a longshot for quite sometime.

Barcelona tried to get back in the game, even cut the lead of Darussafaka to 7 points (59-52) with less than four minutes left but that was the best they could do.

Will Clyburn with 15 points and Ante Zizic with 10 and 13 rebounds led a balanced offensive effort for the winners and had a huge role on defense. Specially Zizic demonstrated once again his progress against fellow Croatian Ante Tomic who was kept in check with 8 points on 3/7 shots.

Stratos Perperoglou with 16 points was the only scorer in double digits for Barcelona. Τhe 56 points are the fourth worst performance in the club’s history.
