In the aftermath of the defeat of Brose Bamberg by Darussafaka Dogus, coach Andrea Trinchieri discussed the great effort his players made to win but also the things “they can’t overcome”

Andrea Trinchieri congratulated Darussafaka Dogus for the victory and gave the appropriate bravos to his tough-to-beat players in the post-game press conference while leaving a rather cryptic comment regarding the calls that took place throughout the match.

“It’s a little boring to comment on these kind of games. What can I say? Nothing. Whoever knows basketball saw everything. What happened here, in Europe, everywhere. It is what it is,” said the Italian coach of Brose Bamberg.

“The final result is the least of my problems. It’s a problem for someone else. We gave more than the maximum and I can’t ask for more,” he added.

Trinchieri also mentioned, “Congratulations to Darussafaka. We fought and we had a chance to win. We made big plays, we made mistakes. It’s a little boring to comment on these games. Whoever knows a bit about basketball has a very clear picture. There are things we can’t overcome. I’m proud of my players. They fought and everybody tried to give his best despite having 11 players available. We made a couple of mistakes but also their team made mistakes. We had a chance to win against a team that needed victory to stay on track and we played to win so I’m really proud of my players.”
