CSKA Moscow has traveled to Vitoria carrying a 2 – 0 advantage in the EuroLeague playoffs against Baskonia and head coach Dimitris Itoudis expects his players to fight tooth and nail in order to finish the series before returning home.

The defending champs faced strong amounts of resistance in Moscow but managed to make the 2/2 and now desire the sweep in Spain. With Baskonia on the brink of elimination, Itoudis knows that the games in “Fernando Buesa” arena will be as hard as it can get for him and his players.

“The only thing that you have to expect is to play very competitive games,” said Itoudis. “We are 2-0 up and that gives us good advantage but not the place in the Final Four. We want to go there and fight like lions, to overcome all the obstacles that they may try to put on us. We know the mission is not going to be easy but we do have the players, the character, the courage and the wish to go there and qualify.”
