Antonis Fotsis was clearly displeased with the decision of Panathinaikos’ management to get the players on a bus for their return back to Athens, expressing his frustration emphatically.

The 36-year-old power forward refused to board the bus headed to Athens and decided to book a flight back home. Same as Chris Singleton, Mike James and Kenny Gabriel.

A veteran of Panathinaikos, Fotsis has won three EuroLeague titles, nine Greek League titles, 6 Greek Cup titles with the Greens. So it’s not surprising that he felt being disrespected after learning about the choice of “punishment” for the defeat in Game 3 and the sweep by Fenerbahce.

“I have won EuroLeague three times with Panathinaikos and you’ll send me back on a buss? There’s no way”, he allegedly reacted when he was asked to enter the bus.
