In the game that nobody wants to play CSKA Moscow had a good start and got the 94-70 win over Real Madrid in a contest which mattered only for pride.

Kyle Hines with 14 points and the duo of Nando De Colo and Aaron Jackson with 13 points each were the top scorers of a balanced offensive effort by the winners. Jonas Maciulis with just 11 points was the top scorer of Real Madrid.

After a 23-10 lead in the first quarter, CSKA Moscow reached a 21 points advantage (41-20) but Madrid managed to trail by 13 (45-32). The charged of the Spaniards continued at the start of the second half with a 5-0 run (45-37) but at the end of the third the lead of CSKA Moscow was back at 13 points (69-56) and nothing changed until the end.
