A regular member of the Latvian national team, Timma played for Zenit St.Petersburg during the last two seasons and he averaged 16.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in the Eurocup this season.
Born in 1992, Timma has been drafted in 2013 with the 60th pick by the Memphis Grizzlies. His NBA rights currently belong to the Orlando Magic.
Timma has also played in Latvia for VEF Riga and Ventspils and he is also the reigning champion of the VTB United League dunk contest. With Baskonia he will make his EuroLeague debut.
