French center Vincent Poirier is expected to sign a three-year deal with Baskonia, according to Le Parisien.
Poirier, 23, completed the 2016/2017 in the French Pro A League averaging 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 15.1 in PIR over a span of 34 games with Paris Levallois.
With the season over for his team after the elimination in the semifinals by Elan Chalon, Poirier will be one of the many departures that Paris Levallois will be force to manage this summer.
Poirier’s progress over the past season is considered highly notable progress since he just played in the France’s second division two years ago.
