Τhe current contract of Sloukas includes an extention option for next season that can be used from Fenerbahce. It also includes an opt out option that can be used by the side of the player and will make him a free agent, if he wants to leave the club.
Both options expire at the end of June, however Fenerbahce has already made their decision and offered an even longer contract extention to the Greek guard, that also includes a substantial raise on his salary.
Meanwhile, both Olympiacos and Panathinaikos are interested on the player and their are making their moves. The two Greek clubs are the main suitors of Sloukas, if he decides to leave Fenerbahce. Still at this point it seems that Fenerbahce is the front runner to keep him, but nothing can be considered done until a final deal is made.
