Panathinaikos aims to keep the players that were pivotal in winning the “double” (Championship title, Cup trophy) in Greece and among them is Mike James.

According to Greek website SDNA.gr, Panathinaikos has made an offer to keep American combo guard bound to OAKA with a two-year contract and a much improved salary compared to the sum he received this season.

The two sides are very close to an agreement and the player’s answer is expected to arrive really soon.

James was among the key characters of the Greek Finals vs Olympiacos. He averaged 12 points per game being the top scorer of his team and finished the decisive Game 5 with 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
